Undergraduate Academic Advisors Professional Development Day

This session will focus on providing you with an overview of an exciting movement within the academic advising community called Appreciative Advising.  Jennifer L. Bloom, clinical associate professor, at the University of South Carolina, will present The Appreciative Advising Revolution, based on her co-authored book of the same name. From 8-9:15 a.m., a breakfast and information fair for UG advisors will be held in Chan Shun Hall. Bloom’s presentation begins at 9:15 a.m. While it is open to the public, this presentation is geared toward undergraduate advisors.
