Embark on a formidable musical odyssey Saturday, November 8 in the Howard Performing Arts Center. The Andrews University Symphony Orchestra--under the direction of Marc Élysée--will present two of the most iconic works of the 20th century with Jean Sibelius’ violin concerto, featuring Mailyn Iribar, previous winner of the Young Artist Competition, and The Planets by Gustav Holst. Join us on this epic voyage through the delicate fabric of human emotions and the colossal forces governing our solar system.
Doors open at 7:00pm; program starts at 7:30pm.

The Andrews University Symphony Orchestra is the core ensemble of the orchestral program at Andrews University. In addition to their current series at the Howard Performing Arts Center, the Symphony Orchestra travels within the Great Lakes region as well as internationally. Since 2006, the orchestra has performed in Italy, Austria, Germany, France, the Philippines and Costa Rica.
