Events will begin on Friday with a Vespers service, followed by a Baccalaureate service on Sabbath and two Commencement services on Sunday morning. Both Commencement services will take place at the Andreasen Center for Wellness, and the Friday Vespers and Baccalaureate service will be held at Pioneer Memorial Church. Please note that in order to provide adequate seating for the families of graduates, there are two Commencement services with reserved seating only. Additional academic and cultural programs are planned throughout the graduation weekend. Braham, Ed.D., as the institution’s next president, effective Sept. 1, 2026. Braham brings more than three decades of leadership in higher education, organizational management and faith-based administration. Burton studies the relationship between minority religions and evangelicalism in the antebellum United States, particularly in reference to politics, race, and gender. Text-generation models soon followed, revealing possibilities that seemed almost limitless. “The potential uses were immense,” Louw said. “But they were often limited by a user’s creativity or a lack of understanding about how generative AI works.” Louw’s interest grew out of his work at the intersection of theology, history and technology. USDLA awards are given out annually to acknowledge organizations and individuals who have demonstrated extraordinary achievements using online learning techniques, innovation, and video technologies.
