From an early decision in Austria to study French for mission service, to pastoral ministry in Vienna and Salzburg, Erich&rsquo;s journey has been marked by faith, curiosity and a willingness to follow where God leads.</p> <p> Following doctoral studies in missiology and leadership, Erich served the church across Europe and North America, including Russia and the former Soviet Union. Since 1994, Andrews University has been his professional home, where he has helped prepare missionaries and leaders through the Institute of World Mission and, later, the School of Leadership. His work has included launching Passport to Mission, supporting innovation in the Leadership Program, serving as senior editor of the Journal of Applied Christian Leadership, and helping establish the Global Leadership Institute and LeadLab.</p> <p> In retirement, Erich looks forward to time with family, good food and continued reflection on God&rsquo;s work among leaders worldwide. She began her journey at Andrews on May 30, 1995, in the School of Education, bringing with her valuable experience from large law firms in Chicago. What began as a professional transition soon became a lifelong calling.</p> <p> Serving initially as executive secretary for graduate programs, Anna developed a deep appreciation for graduate education and the systems that help students succeed. Along the way, she pursued her own education, earning a bachelor&rsquo;s degree in business administration and later a master&rsquo;s degree in nutrition and wellness. Throughout her career, Anna faithfully supported graduate students, faculty and administrators in roles including graduate services coordinator and accreditation, assessment, and graduate records officer, contributing to key initiatives such as CAEP accreditation. Most recently, Anna served with the Global Leadership Institute, supporting leadership development in a mission-centered environment.</p> <p> As she retires, Anna does so with gratitude for the friendships, faith and community that have shaped her journey. She is a versatile player who has participated in many master classes throughout Europe and studied with teachers who broadened her knowledge and passion for flute. Kemble holds the principal flute position with the La Porte and Elkhart Symphonies and has also performed with multiple orchestras in the Michiana region.
